The climate aspect is unquestionably an important factor for future-proof wood construction in a sustainable society. We are very much in favour of putting high requirements on everything from transports and construction methods to the selection of building materials and applying a long-term, environmentally conscientious approach. It means that we must, at all times, continue developing and achieving the environmental targets that have been set. Or, even better…exceeding them!
Our products serve as the most tangible evidence that we are on the right track. We only work with building components that are produced from renewable raw materials in a process that has minimal climate impact. And, the waste products from our operations are used as biofuel. Our facilities are certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and many of our products have CE marking. We are also able to deliver FSC® certified products (FSC® – C107490) at the customer’s request.
As part of the natural cycle of nature, wood products bind carbon dioxide throughout their entire lifespan. And, unlike materials manufactured from fossil resources, there are no scars left behind in nature.
