Routines in case of damage, shortage of delivery or missing goods

1. Upon receipt, inspect the goods to ensure that the correct number of packages and correct package numbers have been received and that there is no visible damage to the packaging or the goods themselves.

2. Make a note directly on the bill of lading at the time of receipt of any such damage and report it to Martinsons. At shipments – damages seen during unloading must be noted on the captains receipt and bill of lading. Damages containers must be reported to the shipper.

3 The damaged goods and packaging must be saved and photographed. The photos must show
a) Our Shippingmarks
b) Packing label with package number
c) Damages on plastic and / or the wood.

4. Hidden damage (not possible to detect during inspection upon receipt) must be reported to Martinsons without delay and you must include the order number, parcel number and photographic evidence. The photos must show
a) Our Shippingmarks
b) Packing label with package number
c) Damages on plastic and / or the wood.

5 Important! Visible damage that has not been noted upon receipt directly on the bill of lading is seldom approved. It is therefore very important that you carefully inspect goods upon receipt.
