Martinsons has always based its success on various ways of processing lumber sourced from the forests of northern Sweden. The slow-growing pine and spruce trees yield timber that is renowned for its high quality and special characteristics that make it particularly suitable for use in construction. The long winters result in trees with narrow rings, which makes the timber hard, consistent and durable. Martinsons sources all of its wood raw materials from forests in northern Sweden and the strength of this timber is fundamental to the high quality that Martinsons has become known for.
